The British School at Athens conducts, supports and promotes research on Greece and neighbouring regions across the arts, humanities and social sciences, from the Palaeolithic to the present.
Archaeology remains a distinguished tradition. Anthropology, history, literature, art history and philosophy sit beside it. The Annual has been published continuously since 1894.
